Business history of PT. Saribumi Prima Utama was started in Year 2002 with the formation of a drilling team which designed to support a national company based in Jakarta that the lack of experts and skilled in the field of drilling.
From this team established a company on year 2003, that at its inception only concentrate on drilling services only. But in development of its efforts PT. Saribumi Prima Utama has grown and expanded rapidly in accordance with business needs, therefore PT. Saribumi Prima Utama Year 2006 began to develop a business but still related to that with the opening of Geosains Division began looking for potential natural resources in the entire Indonesia.
In the Year 2007 PT. Saribumi Prima Utama has established cooperation with Koperasi Bogosasono and PT. Pertamina (Persero) to manage the old wells in the working area of Wonocolo, Dandangilo, Kec. Kedewan, Kab. Bojonegoro, East Java. On experience in oil and gas then PT. Saribumi Prima Utama expanded business activities in 2008 by opening the Oil and Gas Division.

- To build a company with domestic capital capable having international scale with universal standard, especially the general mining, oil and gas sectors.
